On April 15, the Emerging Compliance and Ethics Leaders Network will host Adam Briggs, Mayo Clinic’s Chief Compliance Officer. Briggs will speak on the need for compliance and ethics professionals to understand data and analytics.

Briggs, a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison and Georgetown Law, served as a Department of Defense analyst and U.S. Senate law clerk before joining Godfrey & Kahn, S.C. He went on to increasingly complex roles at UPS, where he was Global Privacy Counsel before stepping into the CCO position at Mayo.

The Emerging Compliance & Ethics Leaders (ECEL) Network is a group for aspiring leaders in the complex field of compliance and ethics. ECEL events are intended to provide professionals who are building their careers with a comfortable and relaxed forum where they can meet and talk with peers about issues they face every day.

The event will occur from 7:30-9:00 am on Thursday, April 15. If you would like to attend or are interested in speaking to the group at future meetings, contact Colleen Dorsey (colleen.dorsey [at] stthomas.edu), Director of Organizational Ethics & Compliance, University of St. Thomas School of Law.
